Why Faye Chic?
My name is Jessica Faye.
In the West, the given name Faye is usually feminine. Faye is derived from the Middle English word faie; meaning fairy, or possibly from the Old French word meaning loyalty or belief.
Chic means elegant and stylishly fashionable.
And so, all our brand’s wearers will feel like elegant, stylish, fairies!
The Designer
Ever since I was a little girl, I have always had a passion for clothes, I remember my favorite part of playing Barbies was deciding on an outfit. And I remember my absolute favorite computer game from the late 90s was Barbie “Fashion Designer.”
This early experience, plus my tendency to always want to make things, sparked my passion for fashion. For me, clothing is self-expression, a form of art, and the personality we wear each day. We wear clothes to connect with the world and express who we are on the inside.
My goal is to design fashion for those people who, for whatever reason, feel left out of that world, and welcome them, through my fashion designs, into a new era of fashion diversity, inclusivity, and body positivity.
Everyone, whether wearer or designer, should have a place in the world of fashion because it is truly an uplifting one. Fashion is there to make a person feel good about themselves no matter who they are or what they like to wear.

Faye Chic is a designer label that is targeted toward alternative femme people of all shapes and sizes. We create garments that are uniquely cute and enchanting. In a world where the idea of everyday wear is outdated, the era of dressing for yourself has taken the world by storm. This brand will aim to be globally universal, by translating its style for many different cultural tastes. Our designs are styled after Harajuku, Kawaii, Lolita, and Coquette fashions. This brand will sell online primarily but long term we aim to create a brick-and- mortar experience for our loyal customers that will transport them to a fairy tale world where their fashion dreams can come true. The experience will be the quintessential self-care day out with shopping, beauty salon, and café available directly in store.
Mission Statement
Faye Chic exists to bring self-love to any person who has felt excluded from self-expression through fashion. I aim to bring happiness and comfort to those who want to feel soft and feminine inside and out. My goal is to make delicate feminine apparel in a wide range of sizes.
About Sugar Dust
The inspiration for the Sugar Dust collection was the French macaron.
The colours are styled after the pastel pinks, blues and soft creams that create this decadent cookie.
The styles of the line have a French influence and are meant to give the effect of layered garments without the need to layer.
Each piece will instill a certain effortless feminine beauty using the soft, luscious effect of materials such as velvet and lace.
Bow after bow after bow will adorn each look. This collection would be worthy of Marie Antoinette herself and the Rococo era.
